African Partners for Child Poverty
A non-profit organization - Uganda
APPCO seeks to address the causes and effects of poverty through development, relief, and advocacy. Our programming principle is to address the plight of Deprived, Excluded, and Vulnerable children and women in the communities where we operate.
APPCO started in 2010 to offer psychosocial support, reunions of families, simple relief and resettlement packages and to help mobilize communities to co-exist after a lifelong Karamojong conflict, raids, and abductions. Development work was added on with the initiation of Community Development Projects and capacity-building sessions by UN Women in 2010 for Northern, Eastern, and Karamoja regions.Read More!
