Martin Osuwat

Biography of Martin Osuwat

Is an experienced humanitarian worker who has significantly contributed to improving the lives of many vulnerable groups of people and more so children, women, elderly, mentally challenged, disabled, unemployed youth, and refugees for now 12 years. He has worked with Local Civil Society Organizations and International NGOs in Uganda on Programme/project strategic planning and development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation aimed at contributing to community health, social protection, and livelihood security in impoverished, disaster, and emergency affected areas.

Experience & Skills

Martin holds a Bachelor of Democracy and Development Studies from Uganda Martyrs University Nkozi, a diploma in social work of Nsamizi training institute for social development, a public administration, and management qualification from Makerere University, and is a trained professional child protection practitioners. Rich experience in designing MHPSS, GBV prevention and response, Child protection/ safeguarding work, EIE -ERP programming, CMDRR policy dialogue and advocacy, SRHR, HIV/AIDS, WASH and nutrition projects
