African partners for Child Poverty – APPCO is a non- profit organization whose mission is to work in partnership with communities, civil societies, and government to empower children and women to survive and thrive in ending poverty for healthy and sustainable well-being.
APPCO is currently soliciting service providers in Kampala, Gulu, Amuru, Lamwo, Katakwi and the nearby districts for pre-qualification to provide goods and services for the financial year February 2025 - Dec 2026. Competent service providers are invited to submit sealed applications for expressing to supply the following.

Competent service providers are invited to submit sealed applications for expressing to supply the following.
- Supply of Farm chicken – Kröller, Sasso and local chicken
- Supply of Rabbits – New Zealand breed and local breed
- Supply of sheep – Dorper breed
- Supply of Exotic bulls – Freshen and Jersey breed
Important Dates:
- Publish Bid Notice: 21st July, 2025
- Bid Opening: 1st August, 2025
- Evaluation of Bids: Within 10 working days
- Display and communication of best-evaluated bidder notice: Within 10 working days from Contracts Committee approval of evaluation report
- Contract award and signature (for frameworks): After the expiry of the best-evaluated bidder notice
Applications must be delivered physically to APPCO offices (Head Office, Gulu office, Amuru Office, Lamwo Office, Katakwi Office) not later than 31st July 2025 by 2:00 pm during working hours. Bidders are required to indicate the specific items they are bidding for on the bidding document. Shortlisting submission will be evaluated according to the APPCO procurement guidelines.
